The recitation of Surah Al-Kahf (Chapter 18) holds tremendous significance in the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Hadith literature explicitly highlights the spiritual illumination and protection against tribulations granted to believers who recite it regularly on Jumu'ah.

1. Divine Light (Nur)

The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Whoever reads Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, light will shine for him between the two Fridays.' (Reported by al-Bayhaqi, authenticated by al-Albani).

2. Protection Against the Fitnah of Dajjal

Reciting the first ten and last ten verses of Surah Al-Kahf provides spiritual shielding against severe deceptions and trials of faith.

3. Four Foundational Stories

The Surah presents four transformative parables: The People of the Cave (Trial of Faith), The Owner of Two Gardens (Trial of Wealth), Musa and Khidr (Trial of Knowledge), and Dhul-Qarnayn (Trial of Power).
